Who is ScriptFinder?

ScriptFinder is a passionate collective of industry-leading producers, entrepreneurs, artists, programmers, analysts, lawyers, and accountants, all united by a deep-rooted love for cinema, the arts, and all things creative. Our team is dedicated to continually enhancing our services, championing innovative projects, and discovering outstanding film and TV concepts. We love what we do because we believe in the transformative power of creativity—and there’s nothing more rewarding than helping visionaries bring their stories to life. For us, that’s where the magic happens.

What does ScriptFinder do?

We specialize in connecting the most compelling feature film, series, and TV show concepts with the film industry. Major studios like Columbia, Warner Bros, Walt Disney, Universal, 20th Century Fox, Paramount and Netflix—along with many others—are constantly seeking the next big idea, and we’re here to deliver it. Every week, we receive hundreds of plot summaries from talented writers, directors, producers, and creative individuals, ensuring that we always have the freshest and most innovative ideas on the market. Our mission is to leverage our industry influence to help our clients maximize the value of their concepts, turning great ideas into successful ventures.

How much does it cost?

We charge $149 one-time fee for a project submission and it includes everything you need from start to finish. This includes registering your project in our database, complimentary copyright registration with the International Copyright Organization, a full pitch form review by a creative executive and unlimited promotion. If your project qualifies after being reviewed, we will work with you on improving your pitch if required. In the event that there is interest by a producer, we will represent you in negotiating a deal at no extra cost. There are no hidden fees, so if you are willing to invest $149 dollars in your idea, we are willing to do the rest.

Why only $149 per idea?

We get a lot of questions regarding our pricing, and the answer is simple. We charge the lowest sustainable price that would enable us to provide a good quality service entry point. If a project is good, we are willing to put the extra work required to improve, promote and negotiate a deal, as we will get compensated by the production company for our agent services. This business model has many benefits for our clients but most importantly (a) it ensures a low cost entry point where creators can submit multiple projects without having to budget for it, (b) our creators benefit from our time and service investment that we allocate for free in each project we believe in and (c) our company’s incentive is to negotiate the best possible deal for the creator as we get an industry standard percentage producer/agent fee based on the amount secured. The higher we can sell a project, the more we get paid by the production company.

Is my project pitched one time only?

No, pitching a project is an ongoing process that requires good timing and persistence. A good concept for a reality show for example, might not get picked up until the right time slot on the right network is available. We do not share our competitors robotic approach of spamming random and unverified producers lists and then walk away from the project. This never works and that is why we pitch your project for as long as it takes.

Why choose us?

The chain of events is as follows:

We have real professionals reviewing peoples’ projects, and we spend time and brain power evaluating the “pitch-ability” of each concept. We keep our clients updated of the status of their review, we communicate, and we provide solid feedback and suggestions. This makes our clients happy. They recommend us, and submit more projects, hence we have the largest project database in the film industry worldwide.

Having the largest database and given that pitching is a numbers game, our best projects are by far the most imaginative, creative and pitch-able projects in the world. This makes the studios and the playmakers pay VERY close attention to what we have to say, as more often than not, our pitches prove to be a goldmine for them. Our service is considered by Hollywood producers a valuable asset that saves them time, resources, and above all it provides results.

This valuable service that we provide to producers not only improves the chances of our clients projects getting picked up, but we get to secure the maximum possible profit for them. This in turn makes our clients even happier, thus ensuring our business continuity and client satisfaction.

If you want your project to go mainstream Hollywood, why not choose a mainstream pitching company?
